In this episode of The 411 Live, we continue our discussion with Lamarr Love, Executive Director of Vessels of God and ex-pimp.
In this episode, we discuss what pimping was compared to what it is now. Lamarr Love goes on to express how it was a lot more voluntary back in the day. He says that in the sixties and seventies, there was much more of a better understanding within the sex trade. Whether right or wrong, he says people chose to be a part of the sex trade. A lot of times more than not it was out of necessity. Whether that be paying bills, taking care of family, etc. According to Lamarr Love, the situation now is a complete 180 compared to how things were run in the past. Now, what got Lamarr Love out of the sex trade game and steered him in the right direction? Follow along with Beverly and Lamarr Love as we dive deeper in the mentality of a pimp.
