In this episode of The 411 Live, Beverly Taylor talks to, Sandra Zapata, a Counseling & Advocacy Coordinator for the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center.

Bringing awareness to sex trafficking also means bringing awareness to all those that it affects. Often times sex trafficking focuses on women and young girls. One of several key ways sex traffickers prey on those within the LGBTQ community is homelessness. Homelessness is one of the key avenues a sex trafficker uses to lure in victims. Once living on the street, the vulnerability to human trafficking can increase significantly. The risks of sex trafficking to gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people are poorly understood. Watch this episode of The 411 Live as we talk to Sandra Zapata, Counseling & Advocacy Coordinator for the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center about how sex trafficking affects the LGBTQ community. This is the 411 Live. Real People. Real Talk.
