For the first time, Beverly Taylor and guest dive into something that has been hinted in the podcast or briefly mentioned, the segregation in Milwaukee. Dawn Jones is kind enough to open up about her childhood and how she grew up in a lower-class household. How there was a difference growing up in lower-class, where she would see every kind of nationality and culture to becoming a cop and seeing the segregation in Milwaukee up close and personal.

Dawn also opens up about some of her experiences as a police officer and how she got assigned to sex trafficking. She also talks about how uneducated the police department was in the past and what we can learn today to do better. She highlights how officers need training when it comes to handling sex trafficking victims in certain situations and how to investigate domestic violence of a victim of sex trafficking.
